City Hall houses the majority of city offices and departments, including the offices of the mayor, city manager and city attorney, and the departments of finance, planning and human resources, among others. The City Council's chambers are also located here. Council meetings are held the first and third Monday of each month, and are open to the public. The Board of Supervisors for the San Leandro Unified School District also meets in the chambers. Meetings are usually held bi-monthly on Tuesdays and are open to the public. 

A one-stop permit center, with information and forms, is open to the public on the first floor of City Hall.

The Eden Township Substation is the Alameda County Sheriff's Office's local office, serving  more than 150,000 locals in the unincorporated areas of Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Ashland, Cherryland, Sunol and Livermore Valley.

The Substation is home to the Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving Unit (COPPS) program. 

It also houses Special Investigations Units including Crimes Against Persons, Property Crimes, Auto Theft, Sexual Assault, and Juvenile Investigations.

Washington Manor Park is located in San Leandro's Manor District. The park is situated on 15 acres and has many features, the most visible of which is a large aquatic park featuring a water slide and children's water features. It also has traditional play structures, basketball courts, softball fields and picnic areas. 

Amenities
