District 26 is composed of five public schools: four elementary schools (Prairie Hill, Briargate, Deer Path and Three Oaks) and one junior high school (Cary Junior High School). Teachers in all schools are certified, experienced and dedicated to all the students. From kindergarten through 8th grade, the average class ranges from 20-27 students. Additionally, 75.2% of teachers have a masters degree or above.
This building houses the local government offices for the Village of Cary--various departments here include administration, finance and public works.
The governing Village Board meets here twice a month and posts agendas online before each meeting. The board also posts minutes from each meeting on the website.
Village of Cary sends a weekly email newsletter that keeps residents informed about what's happening at Village Hall and around town.
Serving about 26,000 residents, the Cary Park District is located in the same complex as Village Hall and the Cary Police Department. The park district, serving Cary, Fox River Grove, Trout Valley, Lake in the Hills, parts of Oakwood Hills and unincorporated McHenry County, is made up of 52 parks and was established in 1971.The park district hosts many programs and events for kids, teens, adults, seniors and the whole community throughout the year.
The Briargate Elementary School community consists of dedicated staff members, hard-working 1st through 4th graders and an active P.T.O. The school's core academic program includes instruction in language arts, math, social science, science, art, music and physical education. Briargate Elementary aims to enable all children to become viable citizens, educated and productive individuals and life-long learners.
