District 26 is composed of five public schools: four elementary schools (Prairie Hill, Briargate, Deer Path and Three Oaks) and one junior high school (Cary Junior High School). Serving about 26,000 residents, the Cary Park District is located in the same complex as Village Hall and the Cary Police Department. The park district,  serving Cary, Fox River Grove, Trout Valley, Lake in the Hills, parts of Oakwood Hills and unincorporated McHenry County, is made up of 52 parks and was established in 1971.The park district hosts many programs and events for kids, teens, adults, seniors and the whole community throughout the year.

The Briargate Elementary School community consists of dedicated staff members, hard-working 1st through 4th graders and an active P.T.O.
