Wyandotte City Hall houses the offices for several city departments, including the clerk, treasurer, assessor, city council and mayor. Council meetings are held at 7pm on Mondays in the council chambers on the second floor. The waterfront community was incorporated as a city in 1867. In the 1700s the area encompassing Wyandotte today was a village for the Native American tribe known as the Wyandot, a part of the Huron Nation.
City Hall is the focal point for municipal services in St. Clair Shores. City manager, city clerk, human resources, finance and community development are among the offices located in City Hall. City Council and other boards and commissions also meet at this location.

The St. Clair Shores Housing Commission manages the public housing and rental assistance programs in the city. The 212 Leisure Manor Apartments are part of the city's public housing program and offers a safe facility with a number of programs and activities for residents. The commission also manages the city's Section 8 voucher program.
The Clawson Department of Public Works offices are located at 635 W. Elmwood across from City Park. The department provides many services to the city such as snow removal, road projects, yard waste and recycling, leaf pick-up in the fall and brush, log, and stump removal. The department is led by interim superintendent Doug Ballard.
The city of Bloomfield Hills is located in the southeast quadrant of Oakland County and is home to roughly 4,000 residents. The city government consists of seven departments that operate under direction of the city manager and a city commission. The city commission is comprised of five members who are elected to two-year terms. The commissioners select a mayor and mayor pro tem amongst themselves. Commission meetings are held at 7:30pm on the second Tuesday of each month.
The Grosse Ile Township Airport Maintenance services the Grosse Ile Municipal Airport, which is a relatively small airport for single- and double-engine planes, helicopters and blimps. The airport administrative office is separate from the maintenance office, which deals with the physical rather than logistical upkeep of airport facilities.
The city of Fenton is a Home Rule city that operates under a council-manager form of government. The council has seven members, including the mayor. The council meets on the first, second and fourth Monday of every month unless otherwise noted.
The Shelby Township Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of local parks in the Shelby area. In addition, the department organizes recreational activities for members of the community; these activities can include such seasonal events as "Mom 2 Mom Sale," "Pioneer Christmas Photo," "Deer Day," "Breakfast with Santa and Friends," "Christmas Aglow" and "Dinner and Dancing with Santa Claus."
The office of the Birmingham City Clerk is the official record-keeper for the city. Its other responsibilities include maintaining the city code and legal files, preparing agendas and minutes for city meetings, administering elections, publishing legal notices, and issuing licenses and permits.

The Royal Oak Animal Shelter is the place where all stray and abandoned animals in town are housed until they find a new forever home. The shelter is a "no kill" facility that puts extra animals in foster homes whenever there are too many in the building. The shelter adopts out hundreds of dogs and cats every year with the help of an active team of volunteers. The Animal Shelter is under the auspices of the Police Department.
