The Pump Station and Nurtury is a unique store designed especially for new moms and babies. Registered nurses Wendy Haldeman and Corky Harvey opened the store after having their own children and realizing that many new parents wanted more education and support in caring for their newborn. For breastfeeding, the store sells pumps, creams, pads, pillows, books, milk storage, nursing covers and nursing bras, tops, dresses and sleepwear. Books and videos are also sold, as are baby clothes, toys and care products. Classes are held on breastfeeding, baby care, pregnancy and childbirth, parenting, fitness, health and baby sign language, and the store partners with other organizations in presenting classes and activities for newborns.
