De Luz Community Services District serves property owners in an unincorporated area west of Temecula and near the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve. The district board is comprised of elected officials, who oversee road construction and maintenance, improvement permits, garbage collection, extended police protection, traffic control and growth. Its offices are located on Date Street in Murrieta, where meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month.
Riverside County Fleet Services is a garage in French Valley exclusively servicing the sheriff's and county vehicles. Supervisor Stan Gelumbus and his staff work at the Riverside County Fleet Services garage, making sure all vehicles are in tip-top shape before they hit the road. Service area includes Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, Menifee and Perris.
California State Assemblyman Kevin Jeffries (R-Lake Elsinore) decided to make his home office in Murrieta for its central location. Re-elected to his third and final term representing the 66th district, which stretches from San Bernardino County to Eastern San Diego County, Jeffries and his staff can be reached in the Rancon building.
The primary purpose of the office is to act as a liaison between constituents and state agencies, according to Jeffries' Chief of Staff, Jeff Greene.
Got jury duty? Riverside County Superior Court's Southwest Justice Center is located in French Valley on Auld Road, next door to Southwest Detention Center and around the corner from Juvenile Hall. To get there, take Winchester Road to Auld Road.
This Superior Court locations handles criminal, family law and juvenile cases. Fines can also be paid here. Arrive early if checking in for jury duty, as parking can be limited. Allow extra time to go through security.
Located at One Town Square just a few blocks from historic Old Town Murrieta, City Hall is neighbored by the Murrieta Police Department, the Murrieta Senior Center and the Murrieta Public Library. Just outside, Town Square Park is the new home of a Veterans' Memorial erected by the city. It honors servicemen and women who lost their lives fighting for their country.
