The Streets Division is a part of the city of Hialeah, Fla. It operates various sections and employs more than 65 people. With an annual budget of over $10 million, the division manages a staff of administrative personnel. Its sections include maintenance, construction, engineering and stormwater utility. The division is responsible for planning, designing, constructing and maintaining the citys public right-of-ways. It also issues right-of-way work permits and inspects several construction works. In association with Miami-Dade County Public Works Department, the Street Division maintains secondary canal system right-of-ways. The divisions stormwater utility program administers discharge permits, fee billing system and stormwater master planning. The Streets Division is located in Hialeah, Fla.
