LMC-TV has been broadcasting to the Larchmont, Mamaroneck and Rye Neck communities for more than 25 years via a three-prong approach know as PEG TV. That means LMC-TV has separate channels devoted to public access, educational and governmental programming.

The not-for-profit local television station, with studios at Mamaroneck High School and 145 Library Ln., offers free access to its equipment and facilities to anyone working, living or going to school in the area. In addition to covering local news, community events, government meetings and school board discussions, LMC-TV also offers field and studio production classes, after-school clubs, and can create not-for-profit promos. It has a college internship program, and Rye Neck High School students can earn their community service requirements by volunteering at the studio.
Sheriff Donald Blaine Smith heads the Putnam County Sheriff's Department, which consists of one undersheriff, three captains, one chief investigator and 85 officers. The department features a marine unit, a narcotics enforcement unit, a civil bureau, a school resource officer and additional specialized units. The department's territory is county-wide, so at times it works with the State Police or different village police departments. Residents can visit the office to report crimes, incidents and domestic abuse or to inquire about pistol permits. The Sheriff's Department is attached to the Correctional Facility, which employs 57 correction officers.
The Village of Brewster, located within Putnam County, was named for two early farmer landowners, Walter and James Brewster. The Village Hall and Court is located on Main Street in town and offers numerous services for residents, including permit solutions and court services. It also houses government offices. Suffolk County's Women, Infants and Children (WIC) services aims to improve the overall health of expectant and new mothers with young children up to age 5. It offers breastfeeding support and nutrition education classes to help mothers make informed dietary decisions. WIC also offers food assistance by providing checks to purchase supplemental formula, low-fat or fat-free milk, whole grains, fruits and vegetables to low-income parents. The Town of Ossining Highway Department duties include repairing Town roads, plowing snow and cleaning drainage systems.
The government offices in Briarcliff Manor's Village Hall are located on the second floor of 1111 Pleasantville Road. Residents can find the village manager, court clerk, building department and treasurer in the building. The structure, built in 1963, also houses the village's Fire Department, Police Department and Village Court.
Board of Trustee meetings, along with court sessions and other committee meetings (Beautification Committee, Conservation Advisory Council, Ethics, Planning Board, Recreation Advisory, Zoning Board and others) are held in the building.
This brick building serves as a sort of town hall for the residents of Southeast. Visitors can make suggestions or voice their complaints to the Town Supervisor, and they can also receive advice on a number of different issues at this and other offices.
At the tax receiver's office, residents can pay their county, town and school taxes, either in person or by mail. The assessor's office is responsible for keeping the assessed values of properties in the town at a fair market value annually. Residents, attorneys, real estate agents and other individuals can come here to check property identification and the status of exemptions, among other data.
The accounting department is responsible for the financial ongoings of the town, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
The town clerk is located at the left window in the building's lobby. Residents can visit the clerk for information on town documents and meetings.
Town court is led by the town justices, who hear cases that occur only within the Town of Sourtheast.
All the town's financial matters are handled by the finance office, which performs the following functions: preparation of the town budget, sanctioning and auditing the payment of claims from all departments, recording all revenue, investments and expenditures, and handling all aspects of payroll, employee benefits and reimbursements.
