Alamodome is a stadium located in San Antonio, Texas near the campus of University of Texas – San Antonio. Alamodome currently houses the NCAA team the UTSA Roadrunners. The stadium opened under its current name on May 15, 1993 with the construction taking just over three years at a cost of just over $186 million, $296 million in present day dollars. The latest renovation was in 2006, which added more luxury suites.
The UTSA Roadrunners are members of the C-USA Conference of the within National Collegiate Athletic Association. They are known by their team colors consisting of orange and blue. Their mascot is Rowdy.
The stadium currently holds 65,000 fans. There are 38 luxury suites and over 6,000 seats at the club level. Currently, it is the 39th largest stadium in the NCAA. The record fan attendance of 65,000 has been recorded multiple times over the years. In terms of parking there is on-campus parking and satellite parking lots both containing general and reserved spots.
Season tickets are available with prices starting around $130. Individual tickets start at about $12 depending on the game. Tickets are available through the team website and ticket exchanges.
