Established in 1980, Cosmopolitan Baptist Church caters to its members based in Oakland, Calif. Its ministries include health and human services, Oakland community organization (a community action organization), Friday night live, Elijah s place nursery, kings court childrens church and Wednesday night family bible study. The church provides a place for worship, prayer, bible study, fellowship and activities that help in strengthening the community. The music ministry is divided into four units, which include the mass choir, the united saint s choir, the sons of thunder, the sisters of Zion, praise team and the musicians.
