Founded in 1876, Centerpointe Church is a community-oriented Presbyterian congregation led by Senior Pastor Mike Barris. It holds two worship services each Sunday. The 9 am service features a choir, organ and band, and gives children the oppportunity to worship along side adults until the message begins and children depart for participation in religious classes. The second service begins at 10:30 am and features a Sunday school, child care and youth services.
In addition to Sunday classes, the church provides the members of it's congregation with several weekly ministries. Such opportunities include men and women's ministries, small groups, annual retreats and a number of volunteer programs.
It also operates the Centerpointe Christian Preschool, which operates year-around offering programs designed to nurture it's students' academic, physical, emotional and spiritual development.
