Christ Church Episcopal welcomes everyone. The church offers two services on Sunday—the first in English and the second in Spanish. A youth center academy is located on-site for parents who wish to enroll their children. A thrift store and church office are located next to the church, both open to the public (not just members). People can even stop by and enjoy their lunch at the picnic tables on site. Bible study classes are also available.
Since 1925, Goodwill has been helping to employ Americans across the country. Commonly mistaken for just a thrift store, the primary purpose of this not-for-profit organization is to put people to work using the proceeds from sales to fund its mission. This particular store, located in the Peachtree Parkway Plaza shopping center, is also a donation center. The clothes are organized according to color, making for easy browsing, and the staff is kind and helpful.
