Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley is a non-profit organization funded entirely by grants, private donations and local businesses. Serving over 500 children daily at five locations, this club provides the youth of Sonoma with an after school program that focuses on skill building, education, and working as a team. Children also gain other skills such as arts, computer science and athletics. In addition to the Maxwell Clubhouse, the Boys & Girls Club serves children afterschool at Altimira Middle School, Sassarini Elementary, Dunbar Elementary and Flowery Elementary Schools. 

Its main clubhouse is located in Maxwell Farms Regional Park. The 22,000 sq foot building has a full sized gym, Intel Computer Clubhouse, art room, garden, music recording studio, kitchen and a large game room. The Boys & Girls Club is open to all children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 years old.

Valley of The Moon Trap Club is a family-oriented member and guest gun club that offers seven trap fields and sporting clay events. Services offered include instructors for beginners and youth, a clubhouse with full kitchen and shooting events. The club also hosts NRA hunter safety courses, women's shooting and safety classes, youth pheasant hunts and more.

Established in 1901, the Sonoma Valley Woman's Club is a non-exclusive social organization, connecting Sonoma's women for over a century. The club holds regular events to connect its members, including lectures, teas and socials, a holiday gift bazarre, and personal improvement seminars. The club meets regularly every third Friday, and "welcomes new members." The Woman's Club also holds regular fundraisers for the community; last year it donated almost $5,000 to a variety of local non-profits and schools.

The building, built in 1915 as the permanent home for the league, holds a stage for lectures and theatrical presentations, a banquet room, and a full kitchen. The building is often rented out for weddings, meetings and other private social affairs.

Valley of the Moon Little League offers softball and baseball for the youth of Sonoma from the ages of 5 to 18 years old. With various fields in Sonoma and surrounding areas, the league is made up of 12 different teams. As stated on their website "Baseball and softball embody the discipline of teamwork. They challenge players toward perfection of physical skills and bring into play the excitement of tactics and strategy." Please see their website for more information.

The Sonoma Valley Little League is a nonprofit that aims to promote, develop and supervise those participating in Little League baseball and softball. It offers baseball, challenger and boys' and girls' softball divisions, in addition to training. Focus is placed not just on making superior athletes, but also on discipline and teamwork.

The Loyal Order of Moose (LOOM) is a fraternal organization that has existed since 1888. The group's focus is on fund-raising and community support, including the management of Mooseheart Child City & School, a village-style orphanage outside of Chicago, and Moosehaven, a retirement community for Moose members near Jacksonville, Fla. The Sonoma Valley Moose Lodge is a community center and 300-person capacity event hall with ample parking. A restaurant and full bar, along with a small outdoor children's park are included in the facilities. Every Tuesday at 6:30pm the lodge is open to the public for bingo and snacks. Members can enjoy dinner at the lodge on Mondays and Fridays, and brunch on Sunday mornings. Numerous fund-raising events for Sonoma Valley community organizations and charities are held at the Moose lodge every year.
