Governors Club, located in Tallahasse, Fla., is housed in a refurbished building constructed in 1926, in the historic heart of the city. Chartered in 1982, it provides fine dining with Southern hospitality to members and their guests. Membership is statewide, including political, professional, business and university communities, and is by invitation. The club has a catering staff to assist members in hosting the perfect private luncheon, dinner reception and meeting. It features formal dining in a variety of well-appointed clubrooms. The main dining room can seat up to 130 people for seated banquets and 200 people for receptions. Menus represent Continental and American ciusines, with a wide wine list and liquor selection.

The University Center Club maintains a ballroom that has a seating capacity of up to 550 people. It also features over five meeting rooms that are available on rent for organizing several formal and informal events, such as weddings and corporate meetings. The club serves bacon wrapped shrimp, crab cakes, burgers, salads and sandwiches. The University Center Club offers white and red wines, such as pinot grigio, sauvignon blanc, riesling, merlot and chardonnay. It has received the Circle of Excellence award.
