West Forsyth High School, located at 4155 Drew Campground Road, opened in 2007 and quickly gained stature as one of the top high schools in Georgia. West currently ranks 33rd among the state's 155 high schools academically. The school has an excellent Advanced Placement Program and a Technology Department that offers instruction in Business Education, Banking/Investing, Computer Applications and Engineering Concepts and Foundations.
The Black Diamond Grill offers all-American food in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Parents can enjoy their meal or take in a live band while the kids have a good time in the gameroom. Menu staples include sandwiches including specialty burgers, French dips, Philly cheese steaks and chicken wraps. Main entrees of steak, fish, chicken and pasta are affordable options. On the side, order steak fries, squash casserole or beer battered onion rings. Kids can get all of their favorites: burgers, mac and cheese, chicken fingers, grilled cheese or hot dogs.

Their services and products include printed, digitized or embroidered personalization along with all their products. They even supply team promotional items with your choice of logos -- created and/or sent by you or created by their designers. Chris Morrison's family has been supplying specialty awards (including corporate) for about 35 years in Atlanta. They began offering sports teams products and services 10 years ago.
Midway Saddle Club is a non-profit organization offering a range of programs and lessons for its members. The location offers various classes, including gaited, English and Western styles. Classes are for youths and adults. Additional options include tots and stick horse classes. Check its website to view the newsletter or for details on joining classes.
This organization, dating back to 1898, was founded due to a need for veterans to secure their rights, benefits and band together, thus forming The Veterans of Foreign War. Post 9143 is located on Dahalonega Highway, just off the square in Cumming.
The VFW supports our troops, community, schools and youth through various services. It hosts Bingo on Tuesdays at 7:30pm and Saturdays at 7:00pm. Annual holiday events include a turkey shoot, holiday gift baskets and a Christmas party for children. This VFW also hosts Boy Scout Troop #39.
