Starbucks occupied a prominent spot in this downtown shopping center anchored by Trader Joe's when the complex opened in 2007. The coffee shop is about three blocks north of the Old Town area. Located near Harvest Market in San Marin Plaza, this Starbucks Coffee location has a relaxing atmosphere and is a true neighborhood gathering place for residents of the San Marin area. In July 2011, Marin Coffee Roasters took over a corner location at Pacheco Plaza previously known as La Coppa, Bonavita and Prudie's. It is run by Tim and Tami Mock, who have another location (drive-through only) on South Novato Boulevard. Tim started in the coffee business at this Ignacio location in 1994 back when it was Prudie's Espresso. The 1,000 square-foot coffee spot is in the middle of the newly-renovated Pacheco Plaza and has additional outside seating, shade umbrellas and a prime corner spot. The place is a relaxing sanctuary amid this busy shopping center.
