St. John s College, founded in 1696, is a coeducational liberal arts college. The college is accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education and the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. Its curriculum of liberal arts comprises philosophy and theology, politics and society, literature, mathematics, natural science and history.
