The Lausd Venice Skill Center is a vocational school in Venice that offers programs for career training, academic classes and studying for the GED. It is low in cost and has open enrollment, allowing anyone to start any class at any time of the semester.
St. Catherine School is a private K-8 Catholic school accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and Western Catholic Education Association. The school is attached to St. Catherine of Siena Church, located near downtown Martinez, across the street from City Hall, and next door to Susana Street Park. It is a well-regarded school that has served Martinez for many years.
