The Willows Academy is an all-girls school for students in grades 6-12. This institution has a college preparatory curriculum and follows the Catholic tradition. The school offers ACT prep, various AP classes and college counseling, as well as classes in literature, computer applications, philosophy, history and math. There is a wide selection of athletics, clubs and organizations for students to join as well. This school is part of the Alliance for Character in Education.

Situated on 9 acres of donated fields and meadows, Trinity Lutheran is a small private school.  Aaron Landgrave is the current principal, and students come from Burr Ridge, Lemont, Darien, Willow Springs, and many other surrounding communities.  The school's Christ-centered education focuses on nurturting the whole child.  It incorporates religious study, conflict resolution, community service, strong academics, fine arts and athletics into their curriculum.  The school offers a tightly knit community and plenty of year-round events open to all. The MidWest Montessori School is a training school for teachers who will be teaching at local Montessori schools. Since 1992, the MMS has been offering training and observation services to teachers interested in teaching within the Montessori system. Once training is finished the graduates can go on to teach.

Concordia Place is a non-profit organization in Chicago's North Center, formed in partnership with Concordia Lutheran Church. Its services include early child care, after-school enrichment programs, summer camps and other recreational activities for children, teenagers and adults. Programs include an early learning program and preschool program. Teenagers can participate in a number of after-school programs, including Emerging Leaders, Sprouting Initiative and Recycling and Composting.
