Located just off the Crennell Avenue traffic circle, St. Philip Roman Catholic Church is designated as an official landmark by the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation. The grounds of St. Philip consist of the church, the St. Philip School (kindergarten through eighth grade) and the Parish Center. All are welcome to attend any worship service. St. Philip has an extensive Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program in place for those who ascend beyond curiosity.
In a peaceful residential area, next to the Creedmoor Court Senior Citizen Apartment complex and the Brookline Regional Catholic School, the Church of the Resurrection is in its second century of operation. The church serves both the members of its congregation and the greater community of Brookline. All are welcome to attend any service.
