This school and camp has been serving West Chester for more than three decades. It sits on four acres of land, and the owners built their home there and the school themselves. The owners love both children and animals, and the animals there are a big part of the program at the school. Goats, rabbits, chickens and even llamas are all part of the Discovery experience. The camp is for kindergarten though fifth grade. The school covers preschool and kindergarten.
First Presbyterian Church in West Chester has continued to grow with the community in order to fulfill its religious needs. Currently, three full-time pastors serve the congregation the members of which number over 2,200. The Church provides a nursery from 8am to 11:45am on Sunday mornings so parents can listen attentively to the sermons.
Both traditional and contemporary services are offered. At the traditional service, three hymns are sung while at the contemporary service, praise songs are sung with the words projected on a screen for easy following.
