New Tang Dynasty TV is an independent, nonprofit Chinese language television broadcast and is headquartered in New York City. It began broadcasting in North America in 2002, and extended its 24-hour programs in 2003 to cover Asia, Europe and Australia. It has reporters and correspondents in more than 50 cities worldwide, and its broadcasting staff have extensive experience in television programming as well as other media. Its qualified contributors have in-depth understanding of both western and eastern cultures and of the Chinese communities around the world. New Tang Dynasty TV reaches over 200 million viewers worldwide and offers a wide range of programs, available in both Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese, and its programs include world news, cultural shows, educational programs, discussions and interview programs, sports and entertainment, finance and business programs.
