Built in 1915, the Bel Air Armory is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Maryland. The armory houses the Bel Air Downtown Alliance and was opened as a visitor center in 2007. It's available to be rented for events and special functions.
The McFaul center is a branch of the Harford County Parks & Recreation department, located just west of Route 1. There is a skate park as well as facilities exclusively for seniors at the building down the street from the Motor Vehicle Administration. The computer room, game room and library are availably solely for the use of senior citizens.
