The Clement Manor Center for Enrichment and Lifelong Learning features programs and classes for adults 55 and older throughout the year. Some classes are designed to keep adults active and healthy while others are meant to challenge the brain. The center also offers a free book club from noon to 1 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month.

Established in 1995, the Pass It On Club is a social gathering place in which recovering individuals and their families can attend 12-step meetings. Open seven days a week, the club hosts Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Alateen, Cocaine Anonymous and Nicotine Anonymous meetings. Monthly or yearly memberships are available, but you don't need to be a member to attend the meetings. Club members receive discounts on event tickets, voting rights and discounts at the club's counter.

Hart Park Senior Center is located in the Muellner Building in Hart Park. A cooperative venture, the City of Wauwatosa provides the space, the programming is administered by the West Suburban YMCA and a daily lunch is sponsored by the Milwaukee County Department on Aging. An abundance of exercise, art, reading and wellness programs help keep minds and bodies sharp.

With an office location in Milwaukee, IndependenceFirst is a nonprofit agency that serves individuals with disabilities in the counties of Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee and Milwaukee in Wisconsin. The agency offers independent living skills training, peer counseling, advocacy, and information and referral services. It offers a range of domestic violence and sexual assault prevention services, such as counseling, individual and system advocacy, technical assistance, case management and accessibility surveys. It also conducts classes on self-protection. The agency operates a resource center that provides disability-specific information, community organization brochures and publications. IndependenceFirst additionally organizes a variety of sports programs, including basketball, football, skiing, softball and hockey.

Mexican and Puerto Rican Food With Flair Café el Sol, located in the heart of Milwaukee's Hispanic community, within the United Community Center, specializes in both Mexican and Puerto Rican cuisine—adding more than a touch of flair to your next breakfast, lunch or dinner. A highlight is the special Latin-style fish dinner buffet on Friday nights complete with live Latin entertainment from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.—definitely not your ordinary fish fry. The Friday night Fish Dinner Buffet was voted in October of 2003 by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel readers as one of the "Best Ethnic Adaptations" of a local fish fry and was featured in a March 2015 profile by Fox 6's Studio A. The unique and very popular Friday evening fish dinner buffet offers both broiled and fried fish with a variety of Latin cuisine. Each Friday evening buffet also includes Live Latin entertainment from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. La Peña performances are named for an old Spanish tradition among travelers to gather around Café el Sol also offers a relaxing atmosphere and an excellent drink selection.
