Sylvan Oaks Community Library is a library on the Southeast corner of Auburn Boulevard and Van Maren Lane. The building, which is surrounded by oak trees, neighbors Crosswoods Park. In addition to a collection of 84,000 books and magazines, there are 15 computers available for use. There is also a computer designated especially for children.
This is a Mormon church shared by nine units. The people who gather here come from Orangevale, Folsom and Citrus Heights. Each unit has an average of 500 members. All youth programs are run through the Roseville branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Sylvan Cemetery District was founded in 1862 and is the largest district cemetery in Sacramento. This community cemetery provides burial caskets, plots, cremation in-ground, raised and in a rose garden. Sylvan Cemetery serves neighboring cities such as Antelope, Natomas, Orangevale, North Highlands, Rio Linda and Elverta. The gates close at dusk.
Pioneer Baptist Church is a friendly church in Citrus Heights. On Sunday at 5pm, there is youth group. Every third Sunday, the church has a Sierra Hills Care Center Service. Every Tuesday at 6:30pm, the church has its Community Impact program. Bible study and prayer service are on Wednesday at 7pm and volunteers can clean the church every Saturday at 6:30pm. Every second Saturday is the men's breakfast at Waffle Square. The church wishes to provide the community with a place to grow, learn and call home.
C-Bar- C Park is a large park with a beautiful baseball field and dog park for local residents. The dog park is secluded so that dog owners and their pets can have their own special area. The playground is on the other side of the park so that children can enjoy their play area.
There is also a large set of covered picnic tables so that friends and families can get together to have a meal together or just relax.
Friends Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-based and spirit-directed church. It believes in loving God, loving people, and loving life. It has a Sunday school, a day care program, and a pre-school. There is a summer camp for junior high students, and a youth group for high school students. There is a chili cook-off for men, and the church is involved in mission work both locally and abroad.
Antelope Road Christian Fellowship is a non-denominational Christian fellowship church. The church has many programs for children. On Tuesdays there is a prayer meeting at 10am in the lighthouse room and open gym and youth group from 6:30pm to 8pm. Wednesday evenings are soup and bread dinner with adult Bible study. Thursday evenings are for open gym and youth group. Saturday mornings are for prayer meetings in the lighthouse room. The church preaches love and acceptance and welcomes you to join them in celebration of God and Jesus Christ.
St Mark's is a Lutheran church and school serving Citrus Heights, California. The mission of the school is to glorify God, grow in His word, and go with the gospel. The goal of the school is to mold children into children of God by focusing on spirit, intellect, the body and social skills, all godly principles. The school has a Lion's Club, Cub Club, Summer Youth Programs, FACES program, youth groups, a basketball team, volleyball team, and track and field team. The church holds Bible study sessions for adults and children, as well as worship services.
Ascension Lutheran Church is a bible-centered, evangelical, confessional church in Citrus Heights. It believes in teaching the word of Jesus Christ to bring the power of Jesus to the people. There is a traditional service, a contemporary service and a combined service on Sunday. Nursery service is available during those times. There are youth programs led by youth director Sean Carpenter. There also a preschool for children aged two to five.
Lifetouch Publishing was founded in 1978. It specializes in providing quality photos for schools throughout the nation. The company services school picture days, graduation and other school events and functions. Lifetouch also participates in many special programs such as child safety, volunteerism, gift of memories and the lifetime scholarship.
Brooktree Park features two baseball fields, a tennis court and a large playground. The park also has many picnic tables, benches and plenty of space. This is one of the larger and nicer parks in the area.
CSEA is a large school employee union. Located in Citrus Heights, CA, it represents and provides support to California school emplyees.

Holy Family is a large Catholic school teaching students grades kindergarten through 8th grade. This fully licensed preschool maintains a comprehensive after-school program. The school's curriculum involves religion, language arts, math, social studies, science, music and physical education. Parent involvement in the school is very important. There is an advisory commission, a parent club and a booster club.
This is a Methodist church with a mainly Korean membership that holds services in Korean. It features a day care center and a playground.
Northwoods Park can be found within a local residential area. The park includes a tennis court, basketball court and a playground. The park is of average size and is located within a quiet neighborhood. Northwoods includes a nice pathway for a nice walk in the local city. It would be a great place to go to for a relaxing day.
This is a non-denominational Christian church that follows the teachings of the New Testament. The church holds many youth programs, including Vacation Bible School and Sierra Bible Camp. The church also has custom t-shirts available for sale. Church of Christ supports foreign missions including missions in Ethiopia, the Philippines, India and Malawi. The church believes in honoring God through prayer, worship and teaching His word.
