The La Canada Korean Church is located north of the 210 freeway and east of the 2 freeway. The church shares space with the Lutheran Church of the Foothills. Sunday services begin at 11:30 am and there is a free parking lot for members of the congregation.
Memorial Park hosts a variety of outdoor community events. The 1.5- acre park is located at Foothill and La Cañada boulevards. It features a large open grassy space, a gazebo with a bandstand, a toddler and children's play area, picnic tables and a restroom. The city's military veterans are honored with memorials on and around the gazebo.
Some popular events that take place in Memorial Park include the Festival in Lights in early December and Fiesta Days during Memorial Day weekend. Throughout the summer, the city hosts Music in the Park on Sunday evenings.
Mayors' Discovery Park opened in fall 2004 and is the newest city park. Located at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and the 2 Freeway, this neighborhood park features an ivy-covered arbor and a "buried treasure" children's discovery area. The park also includes picnic tables, restrooms and a grass lawn. It is adjacent to the joint-use athletic field at 1830 Foothill Blvd.
St. Bede The Venerable Church is a Catholic-affiliated church located on Foothill Boulevard, one block north of the 210 Freeway. Mass times are Saturday at 5:30pm and Sunday at 7:30am, 9am and 11am. There is a 5;30pm mass that focuses on youth. A listing of the programs and services is available at their website. There is a free parking lot available.
La Canada United Methodist Church is all about growing together as a church and as a community. Pastor Sunny Ahn finds it important to get back to the roots of Methodism, and this is highly evident in his sermons. This church holds worship in its sanctuary and Sunday school for all ages every Sunday. There is an additional Taize Prayer Service at 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month. Members are encouraged to get involved in such activities as retreats, crafts, choir and many more.
Glenola Park is a small, quarter-acre park located at Angeles Crest Highway and Vista del Valle. Amenities include a gazebo and rose garden.

The Lutheran Church in the Foothills has been serving the community since 1947. Sunday services include an informal family-style worship hour, followed by Christian education for youths and young adults.
Assistance League of Flintridge is a nonprofit organization whose volunteers identify and serve the needs of the community. Members develop and administer various philanthropic programs, such as Cappy Bears, where volunteers donate stuffed animals to hospitals and fire stations to give to traumatized children and senior citizens. Another program, run by the league's teen members, is called Birthday In a Box. The volunteers provide birthday boxes to all students at an appointed school.
La Cañada Valley Sun is a weekly newspaper that publishes on Thursdays. The paper is part of the Los Angeles Times Community News, and covers stories relevant to La Cañada Flintridge, including breaking news, school board, city council, business features, sports and police blotter items.
The paper's Web site also features an event calendar for events happening in and around La Cañada Flintridge.
The La Canada Congregational Church was dedicated as a state of California landmark in 1969, and the present sanctuary was constructed in 1924. Sunday worship services and church school begin at 10am, and communion is offered on the 1st Sunday of each month. Fellowship and coffee are provided in the courtyard after services.
