Parking is plentiful in the lot at Kellogg Park, but it is notable that the gates close at 10 p.m. No trolley is currently available in the beach areas of San Diego.

Specific hours for Kellogg Park are 4 a.m. to 10 p.m., and there may be a strong breeze since the park is near the ocean. However, normal daytime hours will almost always be perfect for Kellogg Park.

Formed in 1950, the La Jolla Town Council is an organization that provides a forum for discussion, debate, and action on local issues and concerns. It then advises different levels of government on such issues.  

The Town Council hosts regularly scheduled meetings on the second Thursday of the month at 5pm at the La Jolla Rec Center. It also hosts a variety of other activities including SunSetters, an opportunity for business owners and other community leaders to meet in a social setting.

La Jolla Presbyterian Church is an institution that focuses on getting residents committed to God and nurturing relationships. It was founded in 1905 by a group of families. In 2003, the church built a new congregational life center, administration building, two levels of underground parking and expanded its youth facility.
