Congregration B'nai Chaim has been serving the Murrieta/Temecula Valley since 1972. Headed up by Rabbi Barry Ulrych, the synagogue offers those of Liberal/Conservative Jewish faith a place to worship and gather.

The Murrieta Senior Center is a 9,000 square-foot complex designed to serve as a gathering place for the senior citizens of Murrieta and its neighboring communities.

Located on Town Square near the public library and City Hall, the center offers everything from hobby workshops to exercise programs and pool tournaments. A glance at the full parking lot shows that the center has become popular among local seniors.

Lunch is served at 11:30am on weekdays; reservations are required 24 hours in advance. Other services offered at the center include advanced planning, legal aid, notary, hi cap and veterans' benefits.

Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 261 is on Briggs Road off Magdas Colorados Street. With nearly 800,000 members, the family fraternity was founded in 1888 and is dedicated to bringing communities together in the US, Canada and the UK. Moose members contribute some $50 million yearly to local communities through civic affairs, volunteer programs and donations. The facility includes a 3,600 square foot multipurpose room and can accommodate about 250 people. A kitchen and stage are also featured. Alta Murrieta Sports Park is located on Alta Murrieta Drive just off Whitewood Road. This 14-acre park is beautifully landscaped with water fountains, mature trees and open grass areas. It offers a full range of amenities including a baseball field, a football field and a tot lot. It also offers barbecue areas, picnic tables, concession stands and free parking. 

Alta Murrieta Sports Park is managed by the Murrieta Town Parks and Recreation Department. It is open daily, from sunrise to sundown.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest County's Murrieta Clubhouse is located in the California Oaks Sports Park. The clubhouse is open weekdays from 6:30am to 7pm, and offers before- and after-school care, as well as transportation to and from elementary schools in Murrieta. Professional staff members interact with children, giving them exposure to enrichment programs such as arts and crafts, sports, photography and much more. The center offers day camps during spring, winter and summer breaks from school.
