Trinity Episcopal Church is a large, historic church set at the end of 4th Street in Redlands. The massive grey-stoned structure stands tall over the street, with two giant wooden doors providing entry into the main hall of the facility. The church is presided over by Reverend Canon David Caffrey. The services are based almost entirely on scripture as it is a bible-based church. The interior is large and accommodating, with a small Christian school taking up a wing of the church. On Sundays, the school provides Bible studies for all ages, with different classes and programs for ages 5 through adult. Free parking is available in the church lot.
El Carmelo is a spiritual retreat house with over 50 rooms. A Catholic organization that follows the Carmelite tradition, it is a place for guests to take time to find or reconnect with their religion and spirituality. There is a book and gift shop, a chapel and conference rooms on site, as well as beautiful outdoor areas to enjoy the weather and mountain views.
The Church of Nazarene is in a great location on the corner of the well-known intersection of East Citrus Avenue and Grover Street. It is a beautiful church that has a high peak in the front along with stained glass windows that give it a very elegant look to its contemporary form. It also has very pretty landscaping that surrounds the building and embellishes the front sign. It is a unique church in that it combines contemporary and traditional ways of worship together and uses music very prominently in every service. It has one Sunday mass and is followed by an "Education Hour" each week.
Congregation Emanu El is a Jewish synagogue located along Ford Street in Redlands. It is part of a newer development that houses many various offices. Emanu El offers Saturday services as well as school meetings each Wednesday evening. There are also other various meetings and events held throughout each week for both congregation members and guests. It has a choir and some mission programs, in addition to the youth and study groups that meet each week. Emanu El also makes sure to reach out to the community to ensure all neighbors and neighborhoods are taken care of as well.
