The Westview Church is a Christian religious institute serving the community of Waukee and the surrounding area. The church believes in a developing a "Vertical" relationship with God which includes prayer and serving others. The church has a strong youth program and takes as many mission trips as possible.

In 2004 at the Drake Diner, two friends met to plan an adult Sunday School class. Instead the two guys started talking about what their dream church would look like and out of that conversation the Waukee Community Church was born. The church has one focus and that is making followers of Jesus Christ. Its values consist of creating relationships, grace, authenticity, transformation and action. The people of the church love helping in disaster relief and going on mission trips.
