The Westview Church is a Christian religious institute serving the community of Waukee and the surrounding area. The church believes in a developing a "Vertical" relationship with God which includes prayer and serving others. The church has a strong youth program and takes as many mission trips as possible.
This Mormon church is tucked away east of Grant Parkway. The church encourages values that strengthen families and promote service to others, missionary trips, lifelong learning, respect for every freedom and humanitarian aid. Lead by Bishop Kohler, the church's staff welcomes visitors and new members to discuss their spiritual journeys.
Waukee United Methodist Church was founded in 1869 and constructed a new building in 1978 that incorporates large stained glass windows that were removed and refurbished from the original sanctuary. The midsized church offers youth and adult education, music and child care, and summer camp.
In 2004 at the Drake Diner, two friends met to plan an adult Sunday School class. Instead the two guys started talking about what their dream church would look like and out of that conversation the Waukee Community Church was born. The church has one focus and that is making followers of Jesus Christ. Its values consist of creating relationships, grace, authenticity, transformation and action. The people of the church love helping in disaster relief and going on mission trips.
St. Boniface is a Catholic church named after Saint Boniface which means "to follow Christ is to follow the way of the Cross." The church believes in the following tenets: help each other live out Christ-like values in everyday life, build a community of support to nurture values and spirituality, help each person contribute to the mission of God’s love through the ministry of Jesus Christ.
