The batting cages and popular miniature golf courses that make up Tinley Junction are part of the larger McCarthy Park and next to the Jaycee Grove picnic area. Concessions are available. Portable restrooms are available in McCarthy Park April 1 to Oct. 31.

The 18-hole mini golf course includes a model train track with working train, a nod to Tinley Park's railroad heritage. On Mondays, all games are $3.50. Group rates are available.

The five professional batting cages have slow, medium and fast for hardball and slow and fast for softball. It's 75 cents for 15 pitches.
