The Seniors Club provides opportunities for the elderly to get out of the house, meet people, have fun and also have people there to care for them if needed. Part of the Mantallate Sisters Servants of Mary, the Villa Santa Maria Convent hosts a group of sisters who are involved in the community and specialize in the education of young students at Saint George Catholic School, located nearby. The spacious and beautiful grounds of the convent, and the Marian Center, are available for events (birthday parties, gatherings) and offer covered outdoor seating and parking.
The park district of Tinley Park acquired the land for St. Boniface Park in 1974. The six-acre public facility has a baseball field and playground, in addition to areas for basketball and soccer.
Celebrating their 120th anniversary, Eiche Turner's has been serving Tinley Park with their facilities and staying active in the community for more than a century. PAWS Animal Shelter is a non-for profit, entirely volunteer-run animal welfare society that cares for stray and unwanted pets in the hopes of finding new homes for them. PAWS has dogs and cats waiting for their forever homes. See the website to view the pets waiting for adoption. All pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vet checked, vaccinated, and come with a bag of food and a carrier or a leash. PAWS welcomes donations of time and supplies, and information on how to volunteer or donate is available online. Low-cost spay/neuter certificates are also available at the shelter.
St. Andrew's is a small Reformed Episcopal church, offering Sunday services and Bible study, as well as events for the parish community, such as coffee and discussion hours. The church's preschool, located downstairs on the southern side of the church, offers programs from once a week to daily, for children 3 to 5 years old. The preschool has an enclosed play area behind the church in addition to classrooms below the sanctuary.
Southwest Community Services is a non-profit human services organization with locations based around Tinley Park. Divisions of the organization include the Tinley Park Developmental Training Program, Community Enterprises, Community Employment Services and the SCS Phoenix Center. The organization works to provide the social, vocational and emotional well being of individuals with developmental, mental and physical disabilities. Some services provided include assistance programs, developmental training, rehabilitation and recreational activities. Each division of the organization works to help a different population including developmentally disabled adults, mentally disabled adults and children up to 3 years old with developmental delays and individuals with cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular disorders.
The batting cages and popular miniature golf courses that make up Tinley Junction are part of the larger McCarthy Park and next to the Jaycee Grove picnic area. Concessions are available. Portable restrooms are available in McCarthy Park April 1 to Oct. 31.

This 53-acre park offers bike trails, two ballfields, a basketball area, an outdoor ice rink in winter, a playground, six soccer fields, two tennis courts and a volleyball area. It was acquired by the district in 1989. The property also is home to the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, the park district offices and White Water Canyon Water Park.
