Nassau Lionel Operating Engineers (NLOE) is a model train club based in Levittown. This organization has been in the community for more than 20 years, and it is open to new members who are interested in trains and model train building. Before moving to its new location, NLOE housed one of the largest O-Gauge model railroads in the nation, and now has built a new model twice the size of the original. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and School was founded in the early 1950s and has witnessed decades of change in Plainview. The church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The school is chartered by the New York State Department of Education and is licensed by the New York State Department of Children and Family Services.
All Saints Church and Cemetery has been a part of the Great Neck community for more than 125 years. It is an Epispocal church built in 1886. The cemetery was incepted when the church opened and is still used today. All are welcome to join in their church services.

Worship services are held each Sunday morning at 9am and 11am. Sunday school is available for children during the 9am service. In accordance with the Catholic Church, the Seminary offers a comprehensive program preparing individuals for priesthood into the Church in Rockville Centre. The Program for Priestly Formation is a five-year program encompassing human, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral formation with evaluations conducted regularly.
