The City of Cleveland Police Auxiliary is a volunteer police program. It offers a chance for residents to train to be unarmed auxiliary officers, who are supervised by full-time officers. Each member volunteers at least 20 hours per month and is given a special assignment, such as helping with traffic control, festivals and other community events. The Brecksville Reservation is home to winding, all-purpose trails for visitors looking for a beautiful place to take a bike ride or go for a walk. Multiple entrances with free parking can be found around the city, and maps of the trails are available on the Cleveland Metroparks' website. Camping is not allowed in the Brecksville Reservation. Visitors are welcome to bring food to enjoy in the picnic tables throughout the park, and the larger picnic areas can be reserved up to a year in advance by calling the main office.
