Since the inception of ARTS San Antonio, the board and staff have worked diligently to make the performing arts accessible to everyone through culturally diverse programming, free performances and educational outreach. The ARTS San Antonio season begins in the fall and features a combination of dance, classical and contemporary music, ethnic performances, and theatre. Each year the organization forges new alliances with arts and community organizations. For example, ARTS San Antonio will team with the San Antonio Food Bank to offer a special performance for which the admission price is a donation of food. These types of partnership attract a wider audience of the city and further the objective of strengthening ARTS San Antonio and securing it as an important part of the community.
