Operational for more than 30 years, the Family Center of Washington County is a nonprofit organization that provides a variety of support services for families in central Vermont. It offers services for registered child care homes and centers. The organization provides information and courses for child care providers. The Family Center of Washington County also conducts training workshops and classes. The center offers infant, preschool and after-school programs. Its child care programs are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The Family Center of Washington County s additional services include advocacy, developmental evaluation and nutrition consultation.
