COBO Conference Exhibition Center is the centerpiece of downtown Detroit s Civic Center. COBO is a world-class meeting and convention facility. The complex offers banquet rooms and more than 80 meeting rooms with the ability to accommodate capacities from 30 to 10,000. It also boasts one of the largest contiguous exhibit floor spaces in North America and two adjacent arenas, COBO Arena and Joe Louis Arena. COBO s management, staff and suppliers can handle almost any unique demands for special events, including initial planning stages on through to the event s completion. The Detroit People Mover, an elevated railway system, also links the complex to all downtown Detroit hotels and entertainment districts.
