Located on the waterfront in historical downtown Gig Harbor, is Animal Crackers, a consignment shop specializing in children's clothing, toys and maternity items. Animal Crackers is a community favorite that has been serving the Gig Harbor area since 2006 and with a nice little "Kids Corner", moms and dads can shop away while the little ones are watching a movie or enjoying the view of the Puget Sound.
For a great bargain on clothing for men, women and children, check out the huge selection at Forget-Me-Not Consignments. Well organized departments have clothes and accessories for the whole family. The children's area has clothing, shoes, coats and some toys and books. The women's section includes dresses, pants, jackets, shoes, boots and jewelry. There are clothes and shoes for men and boys as well.
The clothing is priced at about 1/3 of the original price and the consignor gets 40% of the selling price. They accept clothes for the current season, items are on the sales floor for two months. The mother-daughter team who own the store have been in business for seven years.
