The Loyal Nine of Boston: The Predecessors of the Sons of Liberty. The Loyal Nine were a group of nine men coming from a blue-collar background with ideas and a passion to change the political landscape that existed. With the assistance of a local gang in Boston they successfully pressured the British Government and incited patriotism. During the success the group became passionately known as the Sons of liberty with the nine original members at the forefront. Loyal Nine Development is proud to have adopted this name as a tribute to these nine men and the sacrifices they made to create the country we share today
