John Deere Davenport Works is an operating unit of Deere & Company that manufactures construction and forestry equipment. The division began production in 1974. It produces dump trucks, four-wheel drive loaders, graders, log skidders and cabs. The division also makes products for material handling, road repair and maintenance. Its forestry equipment is employed in full-tree and cut-to-length harvesting operations.
