A1 Cottages has gorgeous views of Lake Huron! The beach is only a few feet away. Six of our cottages are on 4 acres of land with 100 of private beach. Cottages sleep 2-8 people depending on the cottage. We provide fully equipped kitchens including full refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, coffee makers, toasters, dishes, pots, pans, cups, glasses, serving bowls, silverware and more! Living rooms have couches, chairs, cable TV, DVD (some) and stereos (most). Cottages have a gas fireplace or furnace, screened in porch, deck or patio. Each cottage has a gas or charcoal BBQ grill, access to a fire pit, outdoor table and chairs. Pets are permitted with permission from the owners. A-1 Cottages are clean, affordable, and are open all year round! We have been renting cottages since 1998 and pride ourselves in repeat business!

Dock space is available for guests who wish to bring a boat. Several types of unpowered watercraft are available for guest use at no charge ( e.g., paddlewheel boat, rowboats, kayaks ). We are close to several excellent golf courses as well as the Soaring Eagle Casino, and our central location makes an ideal starting point for most popular Northern Michigan day trip destinations. Rates are discounted during the Spring and Fall. Our newest vacation home, the Nest, is scooter and wheelchair accessible.
