Joining Employers Association is a wise and cost-effective decision. Your membership gives you a wide range of free and deeply discounted services aimed at the prevention of HR problems. As a TEA member, you have access to salary surveys, compliance guidance, management and human resource advice, training, and consulting. Most day-to-day services are included in one annual membership fee. When members choose specialized services and training, discounted rates apply. After searching various HR sites on my own for about 15-20 minutes, I called TEA for assistance. I left a very specific topic ( I was looking for "bad hire costs" ). I was so impressed that within ten minutes, I had an email from Rob Strate...with a PERFECT article/white paper on the subject. The article far exceeded what I had found on my own. I need to remember that TEA is truly an extension of my HR department! Thank you! Employers Association is a membership-based, not-for-profit organization that assists nearly 600 employers with their human resource issues and practices. We provide human resource, compensation, organization development, and training services to our members. We are not an employment agency. However, we maintain a bank of resumes for use by our members. We began operations in 1939 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and have been serving the needs of employers continuously for 70 years.

Psychiatric Associates was formed in 1997 by three of our four current psychiatrists. We had all been frustrated in various ways by the organizations in which we had worked. We came together to develop a group that focuses on highly competent and compassionate psychiatric care for the West Michigan area. Our emphasis has been on easily accessible, prompt, and timely care for people of all ages in our community. Our four psychiatrists have over 100 years of combined experience in the field. We have assembled an office staff of diligent, considerate and dedicated people that do their best to make the sometimes difficult decision to enter treatment an easy one. They do their best to provide our patients with all they need to get scheduled, be seen on time, and work out their insurance issues. Two years ago we began to add therapists to our professional staff. We are very pleased with their varied professional backgrounds ( psychology and social work ), the range of psychotherapy interventions they offer, and their ability as a group to provide service for all ages. We look forward to providing expert and compassionate care to the West Michigan community for many years to come.
