The Alameda County Juvenile Justice Center provides integrated health, education, legal, and correctional services for youth in the juvenile justice system. It includes a 360-bed detention center and courts.
The building opened in 2007 and received a LEED Gold rating from the U.S. Green Building Council for its energy and water efficiency, and use of solar energy, among other green building measures.
