Ravi Sangisetty is the son of two immigrants who came to Louisiana and worked hard to create opportunities for their children. Inspired by his parents’ determination in the face of many challenges, Ravi has dedicated his career to helping others navigate their own setbacks. His work in the law has overlapped with many issues in the state legislature, and he knows he can make a broader impact on the community as a state representative. Ravi Sangisetty is the founder of the Sangisetty Law Firm, a firm specializing in complex civil litigation. He began his legal career as a law clerk for Judge Stanwood Duval, Jr. at the federal court in New Orleans. In addition to his private law practice, Ravi was recently appointed by Governor John Bel Edwards and Attorney General Jeff Landry to represent Louisiana in its lawsuit against opioid manufacturers and distributors. Ravi serves on the Audubon Commission, the public body overseeing the zoo, aquarium, and other facilities of the Audubon Institute as well as LSU’s committee advising on the redevelopment of the Charity Hospital building. Ravi’s wife, Elizabeth, is a practicing pediatrician. She came to New Orleans for her pediatrics residency at Tulane-Ochsner with an interest in working with a medically underserved patient population. Elizabeth is passionate about the care she provides to children, and her work allows her to see firsthand how state legislation can affect the most vulnerable members of our population. Together, they have two beautiful children and one on the way. Ravi and Elizabeth want their children to become advocates for people when it matters most and to learn that they can effect change in their community.

Located in Broad Street Cultural Products District, ArtEgg Studios was found in 2001 by Dr. Esther Dyer. Since its inception, the ArtEgg has developed into a creative space for creative people. The Lousiaina Department of Economics has renewed ArtEggs certification as a Louisiana small business entrepreneurship - located in the Broad Street Cultural Products District. ArtEgg Studios is a 50, 000 sq. ft. former produce warhouse for American Beauty Eggs, Butter and Turkeys. The original signs have been restored on the Earhart wall. The first floor has intact produce coolers converted to storage for art collections, studios for artists and musicians, workshops for set builders, and offices for nonprofits and entrepreneurs. The upper floor houses creative individuals and non-profit organizations. There are painters, photographers, wood and metal artists, fashion designers and filmakers. We are proud to be home to Louisianas Alliance for Affordable Energy and its Smart Building Resource Center, Kids Rethink New Orleans and the Heritage Foundation for Arts and Cultural Sustainability.
