The performing arts are always at center stage at Screenland Studios. This state-of-the-art facility boasts rental studios to meet any and all rehearsal, audition and filming needs. Popular for castings, Screenland features amenities including a lounge, meeting area, kitchen and production office - all available to suit clients' requirements. For those much-needed breathers, there is also an outdoor patio space. Each studio space is highly adaptable with available WiFi.
Since its opening in 1983, Young Dance Academy has been providing a variety of dance classes for young and adult dancers. The professionally trained and qualified faculty teaches ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, hip-hop, pom-pom and more. Students can participate in the entire school season by paying a monthly tuition or take individual classes.
Dancers also have the opportunity to participate in recitals throughout the year to showcase talent. For serious dancers, Young Dance Academy has a technique intensive program in jazz, ballet, and tap, which allows dancers to compete for scholarships and awards.
Ta-Dah is a dance studio located near Littleton Road in Westford with three spacious dance studios and experienced instructors. The dance studio offers classes for dancers as young as 2.5 years old and up to adult, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, cheer, drama and more. Parents can relax in the large lobby area, which has viewing windows that look into each studio.
Arthur Murray Dance Studio teaches ballroom dancing as well as salsa, swing, merengue, waltz, foxtrot and Lantin dances, among others. Arthur Murray Franchised Studios began in 1912, with its cutting edge dance techniques. There are seven locations throughout Boston and the surrounding areas. First Parish in Framingham is a Unitarian Universalist Congregation located next to the Town Green. The church's history dates back to the founding of Framingham in 1700.
The spiritual leader of the Congregation is Rev. Kathleen Hepler. The congregation hold weekly services on Sundays at 9:15 and 11am Sept. through May. 10 am services are available from Memorial day through August.
First Parish offers many opportunities to connect, deepen and serve for youth and adults. Religious exploration programs for pre-k through grade 8, and youth groups for teenagers. Childcare is available during both services. First Parish is very active with social action work groups, fellowship events, spiritual journey groups and more. The congregation has a choir, children's choir, handbell choir and youth chimes choir.
