We are a school dedicated to the Art of Dance and providing quality instruction for all ages. We offer classes in Traditional, Classical Ballet, Point, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Lyrical. One of our main goals is to strive for quality and professionalism. We also offer Piano & Voice lessons at the studio. The philosophy of Newport pda is to focus on the idea that learning to dance, whether it be Ballet,Tap, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, it should be a positive experience. We encourage students to reach for their goals, and along the way improve self-esteem, posture, creativity and poise. We also emphasize proper dance technique, self-discipline, personal improvement, & are committed to helping our student develop their fullest potential. Under the direction of Miss Jackie, many students have followed their dancing dreams & have won many competitions, gone on to dance in college, dance for major Ballet, Modern & Tap companies, as well as becoming teachers themselves.
