Becks Montessori is a locally owned Montessori school and child care center established in 1992. Programs include preschool for children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years, kindergarten and early elementary to 3rd grade. The classes and programs emphasize and develop the potential in young students through specially designed teaching materials and Montessori trained teachers.
French, Spanish, American sign language, dance and music are included in addition to the full Montessori curriculum.
Roseville Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and worships at a site on Roselawn Avenue just west of Lexington Parkway. They congregation seeks to include everyone: one way they show that hope is by having four different styles of worship service. There is a traditional service on Saturday evenings and contemplative, traditional, and contemporary services each Sunday. The church also has a variety of outreach ministries, including volunteering in the community with Habitat for Humanity and Food for the Hungry. It also sponsors high school and college students in Tanzania who wish to attend school but can't afford tuition.
Stepping Stones Early Learning Center is located just off Settlers Ridge Parkway in the eastern portion of Woodbury. It offers several educational program for children designed to prepare its students for kindergarten. Stepping Stones serves the entire Woodbury area and is locally owned and operated.
