This storefront gourmet deli is located along La Jolla's active Girard Avenue artery. The ambience is a casual deli/cafe style with menus scrawled on chalkboards behind the main counter.
The food and drink selection is varied, with an emphasis on Italian home cooking and gourmet to-go options. Sorella also also supplies the lunches for two local elementary schools and offers a "check-off" menu option that will feed a family of four.
