Design Within Reach was conceived as a way to provide the general public with access to great mid-century modern design furniture by the likes of Charles Eames, Earo Saarinen, Le Corbusier and others. The 4th street showroom is a large, high ceilinged space with ample room to display a selection of chairs, sofas, beds, credenzas and other pieces from mid-century and contemporary designers.
