This brown chalet storefront has been a familiar site in downtown Greenwich for nearly 30 years. Inside you'll find Dan Puffer and Herb Mueller's award-winning bakery serving cakes, pies, tortes, cookies, chocolate and other delicacies. Most items are made daily on the premises. Other specialities include German pastries, wedding cakes and seasonal sweets.
Chris Geideman opened this contemporary American bistro in December 2007. In addition to owning Crew, Geideman is the executive chef and mastermind behind the restaurant's menu and wine list. It offers a variety of dishes ranging from duck confit dumplings to seared lamb sliders as well as a wine and cocktail list that can be pared with every item on the menu.
The Homestead Inn rents out chambers and cottage boardrooms. There are 18 chambers and all have air conditioning, king or queen beds, designer furniture, cable television, MP3 player, AM/FM clock radios, hair dryers and bathrobes. Each room is individually designed and contains original artwork. The cottage boardroom can hold up to 20 people and has a separate antechamber. Customers may also peruse the menu, which includes hors d'oeuvres warm and cold, entrees de poissions, crustaces et viandes and more.
