New Hope Center, based in Chilton, Wis., is a nonprofit agency that serves individuals with disabilities to improve their quality of life within the community. It offers a variety of services that empowers children and adults by focusing on an individuals abilities and potential and offers training and employment at the New Hope Center and in the community. Wheels of Independence provides transportation for the elderly and handicapped individuals statewide. The program is not designed for severe emergencies. This service will transport individuals anywhere within the state. Medical Assistance is accepted. Drivers are available 5 days a week, but strongly recommend appointments to be scheduled 24 hours in advance to ensure availability.
