Damar Services is one of the oldest private nonprofit providers of residential services to children with developmental disabilities in Indiana and provides a variety of living options and support services for children and adults in their own communities. The organization develops services that teach social and behavioral skills to cope with life and to prepare individuals to live as independently as possible. Its campus treatment services include open campus, autism, early intervention and transitional living services. Damar also provides therapeutic services that include behavior management, mental health counseling, and recreational, occupational and expressive therapies. Damars campus and group homes are licensed to serve children of ages 6 to 21, and is located in Indianapolis.
